Curatorial Essay & Exhibition Provenance

Exhibited at Gallery 'Māksla XO' (curated by Ilze Žeivate) and the Latvian National Museum of Art's 'Arsenāls' hall, these landmark presentations introduced Dags Vidulejs's conceptual synthesis of classical academic drawing and sociological inquiry.

The works from the 'Humanity, Civilization & Society' and 'Ethereal Energy' cycles directly paved the way for the later 50-painting Divine Comedy installation.
