Grupa93 Ltd., Konstruktionsgruppe Bauen Latvia Ltd. and EPG Eisenbahn-und Bauplanungsgesellscaft mbH Erfurt have founded a general partnership “RB Latvija” after submitting a joint tender and having been recognized as the winners of the public tender for the detailed technical study and environmental impact assessment of the Latvian section of the European gauge railway line Rail Baltica. http://www.grupa93.lv/en/news/rail-baltica-project/
The aim of the detailed project feasibility study is to determine the exact position of planned railway line “Rail Baltica” in Latvia, including connections to ports and airports, and to begin preparations for railway line construction design, land expropriation and construction by 2020.
